Happy October 2nd to all. Celebrate it, for I now declare it to be national Get Your Bad Report Card Day.

four B two A. damn homework.

Thursday, September 21, 2006

So, today was an interesting day. Today I finally put an end to the whisper-in-the-ear comments and vague IM questions that had been going on for months now. I can remember as far back as July, Elizabeth asking me what I liked in a girl. Funny, huh? Nah, I can understand the motive, if not the method. That's just not for people like me.

So yeah, the riddle's been solved and all the little secrets and IM conversations can be ended now.

Btw, directness is appreciated in relationships that should only involve two people.

For all the people who decided to get involved, a reminder: relationships involve two people.

So happy Homecoming to all, and I hope to see you all there. Comment and tell me if you're going, i'm curious to find out.

EDIT: Hi rxlooterz! It's been 795 (wow, that's a big number) days since you joined Xanga. Wow. 795 days? that's about two years and two months. Who else can say that? And I'm talking about using the exact same xanga, not getting a new one for a "clean start". I've got a LOT of dirt sitting in here, and I'm not going to make a new one and bury it. If  you have a couple spare hours and feel like it, you can sit here and read about my life all the way to the summer before 8th grade. I would find that pretty entertaining...to read what I wrote over the last two years. In senior year i'll look back on this entry right now and think "damn why did i write that?". But for now, I'm proud of that 795 days right there.

Alright...so an update in the important parts of my life.

My mom moved out about a week ago. She lives in a small townhouse a couple minutes away from AHS. Spent a couple hours last week helping her move...Her room is really really empty now.

So it's all figured out I guess.

I'm trying to get back into my own xanga...i still browse other peoples but i don't feel like updating my own at all usually. We'll see if i can keep it going.

I want to ask a question. Does something feel worse if it happens suddenly? Or if you can see it coming for years does it not hurt as much?

I'm putting a lot more effort into school this year, but results are a bit slow. Subpar grades include Precal quiz - 90, French test - 88, French quiz - 88, and Science homework packet - 90. I swear i'm making straight A's this semester without the 7 points, minimum. I really want to shoot for an above 100 average.

Whenever I talk to my dad about basketball, and where I'm not good enough, he always mentions some of the same things. "When I got you into basketball, I didn't expect you to become a first-rate player. If you're not the best, it's okay it's only for your physical and mental health." Whereas when it comes to studies he's totally crazy...I have to be the best and all my grades need to be perfect. I don't have nearly as much love for my studies as for basketball; I could play ball for hours...If he were to pressure me in basketball as much as with school, I would be a lot better right now. As it is, I'm probably not going to make the team no matter how much I practice.

I really feel like taking a road trip. Just grab a car, a couple of my closest friends and drive somewhere for weeks. and do nothing. Wouldn't that be great?

why do i worry about punctuation in these entries?

I think the only good point in my life are my friends. I have good ones...I like to think that I am a good one...and I can easily make others. So to all you who are reading this and consider me a friend, I love you. I really do.

I'm not a different person...these are just the thoughts that go around deep in my mind that I decided to show.

Canada was...not much different from here. It had different attractions but the people and the scenery were almost the same. The only real difference was the French, which was everywhere, spoken and written all over on billboards, ads, and even graffiti.

The coolest part to me was the biggest lobster in the world. There was a model of it in Halifax that you could climb all over and it was about the size of a eighteen-wheeler.

Hope I didn't miss much while I was gone.
